ABOUT
I started training in martial arts since I was about 12 years old and my interest started from watching Kung Fu movies that my mother used to take me to see at the local movie theatre. My first martial art I learned was in the art of Hapkido and I really loved it. I didn't have a ride to get to class like most kids back then as I had to walk a couple of miles to get to my class. It wasn't easy but I really enjoyed the training I received so it was all worth it. My teacher used to say, "Be fast like Cat" in his Korean accent. Later on in my life, I studied other martial arts such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, Kung Fu San Soo, Kenpo Karate, Lima Lama, Muay Thai, Jun Fan Gung Fu, and my favorite martial art- Kali Filipino Martial Arts. I'm currently at a black belt level and have been involved in teaching the martial arts for several years both on the West and East Coast.
I obtained my black belt under Sensei William Holland- Wing Chun Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do and other mixed martial arts as a blended system. I also obtained another black belt under Jerry Gill in the art of Kali. I currently teach a blended system of Primarily Kali- Filipino martial arts as well as some Muay Thai and Jun Fan Gung Fu.
